Fractel Legionnaire Cap | Neptune Edition | Pony Tail Hole | S/M

I finally bit the bullet and invested in a Factel Legionnaire. It’s a ripper! I reside in the Kimberley region of Western Australia and enjoy running around the farms here, often my runs are occurring in full sun, high UV, 30-40 degrees and high humidity. This little cap offers great sun coverage of my ears and neckline. It’s very lightweight and fabric is cooling once wet. Pony tail feature gives comfort too and the handy little button clip prevents the wind blowing the hat flaps aside when the breeze comes along. I still have to wear a bandana to cover lower areas of my neckline I find, but I think it’s the best legionnaire cap to date. The only thing I would change is a broader brim to offer more shade cover for front of face. Washed up beautifully in a bra bag!

I put this on about one hour into my trail and didn't take it off for three days. It took so much heat away from my head and stopped the flies from getting around my ears. So glad I purchased this at the last minute before my trail.

Great quality hat and is super comfy

The cap is really great. I need covering to avoid more skin cancers and it's so good to have my ears and back of neck covered. It breathes really well and sits comfortably. My only issue is that the cap smelled like mothballs on steroids. It took a couple of washed to get rid of it.
