Waterproof Jackets You'll Find at The Trail Co.
- Fully waterproof jackets with taped seams for complete weather protection

- Windproof options for exposed ridge lines and alpine conditions
- Styles that meet UTA and other major trail race mandatory gear specifications
What to Look for in a Trail Running Waterproof
- Waterproof rating: fully taped seams and a high hydrostatic head rating offer reliable protection in heavy rain. The numbers associated with how waterproof a product is refers to its Hydrostatic Head – how much water the fabric can withstand pressing against it before any liquid seeps through. We recommend a minimum of 10,000mm (10K).
- Breathability: a breathable membrane prevents overheating by allowing moisture to escape the jacket without letting water in. It's a measure of how much moisture escapes in grams per m2 of fabric in 24h. eg. 10,000 (10K) / 20,000 (20K)
- Weight and packability: the best trail waterproofs pack down small enough to carry in a vest pocket without adding noticeable weight
- Mandatory gear compliance: if you're racing, check that your jacket meets the specific requirements of your event
Don't let the weather dictate your run. Find the right waterproof jacket for your conditions, your race requirements and your kit at The Trail Co.
