VJ Sport Ultra | Mens
If you're looking for a well-cushioned trail shoe, but are not willing to compromise on weight or responsiveness, the VJ Ultra is for you. Developed with input from elite runners, the VJ Ultra is outstanding for longer distances, as the name implies. It's also an excellent choice for shorter distances when you want a little extra grip, cushioning and comfort. To ensure exceptional grip, the Superior Contact outsole is made of VJ's famous butyl rubber. The last is a medium +, which is suitable for most runners. The added toe space gives you some extra balance and comfort.
FITLOCK ENSURES FIT | Innovative system designed to improve the fit of the shoe, making it feel like part of your body. Integrated with the lacing, the Fitlock system tightens the shoe on the inside and under the arch of your foot.
DURABLE MESH-UPPER WITH DUPONT KEVLAR® | Durable and breathable upper is a mix of Kevlar® fibers and nylon. It excels in the toughest of terrains and endures all conditions.
PHENOMENAL GRIP | Superior Contact outsole is produced from our VJ's special rubber and ensures grip on all surfaces. These shoes are claimed to have The Best Grip on The Planet.

best trail shoes hand down. been using them for years. the whole range of shoes have the best grip on the planet.
These shoes are beyond excellent. They have more toe room that other VJ models, so fit well over the long haul. The weight is amazing considering the generous under foot protection. VJ uppers are resilient, impossible to damage with Kevlar reinforcement, they wont tear. I found the ride quite lively and stable which is good for a thicker soled shoe. Brisbane's harsh rocky trails melt away under these frog green friends. The grip is typical VJ, as good as you can get. They are an odd colour, the iRock 3 is a much better looking shoe but that's not so important right? I ran the best part of the BTU 100 miler in a pair of these and pulled up better than ever, no black toes and my feet were happy. A wonderful shoe. (I bought these off VJ Aus before Trail Co had them and have to confess and a long term VJ fan).
