Time: 7pm to 830pm
With Ultra Trail Australia entries set to open in October, there's no better time to start soaking up knowledge about what to expect, how to kick off your training and where to look for motivation. And who better to learn from than an all-round top bloke, Mile 27 Coach and international trail runner with plenty of podiums to his name - including a nail-biting second place finish at UTA100 in 2016? We're talking of course, about Ben Duffus. Ben will be talking motivation, sharing some stories from the trail and giving some tips on how you should be getting started with your base training for an event like this. It will be a great chance to learn from a runner who's already experienced a host of highs and lows in his running career and should offer something for anyone, whether UTA is a goal for you or you're just interested in what it takes to be an elite trail, mountain and ultra runner.
Tickets will sell out quickly so please purchase them below soon to avoid disappointment. All proceeds will go towards Share Your Soles and the Friends of Himalayan Children.
Share Your Soles is a new iniative designed to get your preloved shoes onto grateful feet in Nepal. See details about which shoes are able to be accepted here and if you've got any that fit the bill, you can bring them along to donate on the night.
